Dr. Irfana Rashid is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Studies (South Campus). She holds a doctorate in Business Administration from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India. In 2017, she completed the prestigious four-month residential Faculty Development Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), one of India’s premier institutions. She has successfully qualified the UGC-NET, JRF, and SRF competitive examinations, underscoring her academic excellence.
Dr. Rashid has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, presenting her research on various platforms. Her scholarly work is published in several reputed national and international journals, including those indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Dr. Rashid is also engaged in research projects funded by various government and private agencies.
In addition to her academic responsibilities, she heads the NewGen IEDC Business Innovation and Incubation Center, University of Kashmir, fostering entrepreneurship and innovation.
Beyond academia, she also serves as a trainer, consultant, and startup evaluator in collaboration with several institutes and foundations across India, contributing significantly to the startup and innovation ecosystem.
